Services

At Cornerstone Logistics we offer premium service in warehousing, transportation and the co-ordination of abnormal movements. Our warehouse is strategically placed in the Culemborg, a mere 5 minutes from the Cape Town Port. Coupled with our transportation offering, covering both rail (all major cities) and road (all the major cities and towns across the country), we are able to deliver a first-class logistics solution.

We focus on getting to know more about you our valued client. This allows us to offer tailor made logistics solutions that helps you zero in on your core business.

Our offering includes:

Local Haulage (Up to 300km)

  • Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Johannesburg
  • LCL – 1.3tonner and 8 tonners
  • Breakbulk - Flatdecks,  Pantechs and Tautliner trucks with security cable (subject to availability)
  • FCL – Horse and Trailers (Flatdecks and Skeletals)

02.

Long Distance Haulage

  • Transport cargo anywhere within South Africa’s borders
  • Transport cargo to Namibia, Angola, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique
  • All trucks have tracking devices and status reports are sent daily

03.

Railage and Cross Haul

  • Railage of FCL cargo from Ports to inland terminals and vice versa
  • X-haul of empty containers from depots and ports

04.

Warehousing

  • 6000sqm equipped with 2.5 and 5 tonner forklifts which can drive into a shipping container
  • Pack containers for export
  • Bonded storage, with an SOS and OS store
  • Distribution
  • Security: Guards (G4S), Burglar Alarm, CCTV and 24hrs armed response (ADT)

Hazardous Cargo

  • Satellite/Radio communication and tracking
  • 3PL – Reliable, well equipped and experienced Hazardous Cargo transporter specialist
  • 3PL – Reliable, well equipped and experienced Abnormal Cargo transporter specialist

06.

New Business

  • A hands on approach setting up procedures for new clients with each stage/component personally monitored within the Western Cape
  • Assessment of client’s security requirements
  • Time sensitive cargo
  • Communication requirements
